|Action 1: Youth for Europe – Sub-Action 1.3: Youth Democracy Projects|
|ECWS — European Commission Working Simulation — is a project funded by the European Commission in the field of the Youth in Action Programme, Action 1 “Youth for Europe”, Sub-Action 1.3 “Youth Democracy Projects” and promoted by the Municipality of Reggio Calabria (Italy) in partnership with: Pronexus Association (Italy), ONG Jaunatnes Lideru Koalicija (Latvia), the City of Jaunpils Novada Dome (Latvia), Mancomunitat de la Ribera Alta (Spain), Consorci de la Ribera (Spain).The project involves 24 beneficiaries aged between 18 and 30, coming from Italy, Latvia and Spain who will simulate the works of the European Commission in the 4-days transnational meeting that will be held in Reggio Calabria (IT) from 9 to 12 December, during which they will discuss the topics of Social Inclusion and Youth Unemployment.The project is fully coherent with the permanent Youth in Action Programme priorities:

Furthermore, EWCS coherently faces the following topics:
a) the participation of young people in mechanisms of representative democracy;
b) allowing young people to experience the concepts and the practice of representative democracy and active citizenship;
c) facilitating dialogue between young people and decision-makers at all levels (local, regional, national and European).
